About The Best Landscaping

Jose's Story

Jose Ramirez has been a gardener for more than 20 years. He holds a landscaping contractor license (Lic #996234) and runs The Best Landscaping, which looks after lawns, gardens, sprinklers and everything else that goes on outside a home or business.

Today the company is Jose and two employees. The crew does the day-to-day gardening and mowing, and Jose supervises and takes on the repair calls, like fixing a broken sprinkler, himself. It is a small operation on purpose: you talk to the person who knows the work and the price.

The business has grown the old way, through referrals. Years ago the way to find a gardener was an ad in the newspaper, and that worked. Now most of Jose's customers come because someone they know recommended him, and we want to keep earning that. That is also why we are building an online presence: to make it easier for the next customer to find us without needing a neighbor's phone number.

What We Do, and What We Don't

We handle lawn care, new lawns and sod, gardening, planting, weed control, hauling, sprinkler installation and repair, yard cleanups and commercial grounds maintenance. We do not do tree work. Tree removal and pruning require a license Jose does not hold, and he would rather tell you that on the phone than take on something outside his experience. For trees, call a licensed tree service.

If you are not sure whether your project fits what we do, call and ask. A straight answer costs nothing.
